Direct Mail Marketing

Look at the various direct mail marketing and advertising opportunities that are available to you. You can create solo direct mail letters, newsletters, free-standing inserts, postcards and brochures. If you have an inhouse list of customers, that list should be your first target. When a customer gives their personal information to you for a mailing list, they are essentially asking you to send them coupons, offers, and info pieces from time to time. What better list to send your direct mail to than those who are already shopping at your store. An inhouse list already has a built in trust in you and your services.

Creating the direct mail piece can be as simple as creating a scrapbooking page/layout with all the detailed information regarding sales for the month, freebies, classes, etc. Take that original and copy it, cut into postcard size pieces, adhere the postage and mail. It can be as simple or as elaborate as you would like.

Find A Resource That Does It All For You

With direct mail, you can specifically target neighborhood homes surrounding your business. It’s best to target homes within three to 10 miles of your business, while targeting at least 50,000 homes or more. At about 3 to 4 cents per home, direct mail marketing is extremely affordable, as opposed to solo direct mail campaigns, which usually cost between 50 cents to $1 per home.

Sales reps are prepared to help you plan the most effective direct mail marketing campaigns, and customize advertising solutions for your business. When you add up the costs of artwork, printing, mailing labels and postage, it can be a greater advantage to use direct mail magazines, cooperative direct mail or a combination of both. Direct mail magazines typically mail to 50,000 homes per targeted mailing area, so you can select the best ones that will work for your business.

Some offer pre-designed postcard formats, proper graphics, special offers and mailing lists to targeted demographics and zip codes. Benefits include complimentary marketing and advertising consultation services with vivid full-color printing on high-quality glossy paper stocks, professional photography, expertly designed layouts and a complete array of comprehensive high-quality resources at an extremely affordable price.

Posted on : 11-Oct-2008 | By : admin | In : Family

There are many times when you might want to know just where you have come from. Lots of people attempt to find out as much as they can about their geniology. This is the study of where a person has come from, as well as where their ancestors have come from. Using charts, you can figure out where you have come from, and this can be a great way to figure out a little bit about yourself.

What Are They?

Genealogy charts are charts that will help you organize the information that you are finding out about where you have come from. The problem with genealogy is that you will find there is often way too much information for you to write down. You might end up with notebooks full of scribbles, and not really know where any of this information came from. Therefore, by using genealogy charts you can fully investigate where you have come from.

For the most part, genealogy charts are organizers that will help you investigate these things. You will be able to fill in the information on the genealogy charts quite easily, as it is all information that you can find. When you have filled in your genealogy charts you will be able to find out much more about your ancestors.

How Do You Fill Them Out

When you are looking at most genealogy charts you will be able to easily fill them out without being too confused. This is because most of the genealogy charts start with you and end up going backward in time. You should be able to fill in the first few levels without any trouble. However, as you go further back, you might need assistance. You can ask for help with some of these issues from your relatives, but after a time you are going to have to start to do some serious research in order to help you fill out your genealogy charts.

Where To Find Them

If you are looking for genealogy charts and genealogy forms you can probably find them online or in book stores. There are lots of places where you can go for information to put in your genealogy charts, so these sites will probably also have plenty of genealogy charts for you. You can either copy them down, or you can find your own in other places. These are always great tools to have on hand when you are working on your genealogy. Remember, this is something that you want to focus on.
